Before treatment
- The treatment should not take place on a sun-tanned skin.
- Sunscreen with SPF30/50 should be applied regularly; 6 weeks before to 4 weeks after the treatment.
- No self-tanning products may be used until 4 weeks prior the laser treatment.
- On the day of treatment, you should not have a cold sore. In that case we make make a new appointment.
- Come to the appointment without make up.
After treatment
- Up to 24 hours after the treatment you may not take a hot shower or go to the sauna.
- Working out is allowed immediately after treatment.
- Do not scratch the skin/crusts, this prevents scarring.
- After the treatment you can use your own cosmetics and creams.
- Please contact us if your skin shows any signs of blisters or if after 3 days it is still feels extremely swollen, red, itchy or burning.
