In order to prepare your skin well before the treatment, we recommend using skincare products from Dermaceutic and Renophase which contain high concentrations of active ingredients. Frequently asked questions
A non-ablative laser generates heat that creates controlled injury in the dermis without damaging the skin's surface. A non-ablative laser treatment ensures that the upper skin layer remains intact. This results in a shorter recovery time compared to an ablative laser treatment.
Unfortunately, we cannot say that the laser treatment is completely painless. In most cases, we recommend applying a numbing cream beforehand. We will discuss the options with you and provide personalized advice.
Great question, as proper preparation is very important. The skin should be prepared for the treatment at least four weeks in advance with skin-improving products from Dermaceutic or a mild peel at our clinic. For the first 24 hours, we advise against visiting hot pools or saunas. If your skin starts to itch, try not to scratch (even though it can be tempting). Always use the skin-improving home care products recommended by your skin therapist. This will help your skin recover optimally after any combination treatment. Due to the heat from the laser treatment, your skin may be slightly swollen for about three days. Pigmentation spots may darken for 5-7 days. If a TCA peel has been applied, you may start peeling two days after the treatment. This process typically lasts around 5-7 days.

A Fractional Laser treatment is possible during the summer, as long as you apply sun protection consistently and carefully. However, we strongly recommend having the treatment done at a professional clinic.
